I think that the article was wrong (it should be en, and maybe it was stated et or ei). I’m not sure since I’ve noticed that one before the summer holidays, and now I cannot remember
I’ll try to make more precise notes in future.

Found the error. I tagged the PoS as a neuter noun, which was not corresponding to the main entry (there’s a neuter version though w/a slightly different meaning). It now reads:
- en kurs a course, direction (of travel); exchange rate, quotation (currency), share price (et k~: a course {series of lessons}, training) [not ei retning, en bevegelse, en gang]
