HI hope this is the right place and I’m not supposed to open my own topic?

We found an annoying Bug in a Memrise-created English (British) course for Arabic speakers… it’s in Level 2 English

"اللغة الإنجليزية لمتحدثي اللغة العربية -2

the bug is in “a.m.” and “p.m”

the right answert is never accepted.

It may be an issue with the MemRise software as I have had similar issues, and decimal places and full stops (aka period) may not be understood or have a different meaning.

@Joshua is looking into it.

A simple solution (fix) would be to change “a.m.” to “am” (or to offer it as a visible alternative) which is more usual these days (IMHO) :wink:

there is a wrong translation in this course. http://www.memrise.com/course/1096935/
the word “a brother” should be translated to "أخ"
but it’s translated to “أخت” instead of the right translation.

شكرا جزيلا على المشاركة بالمعلومة . مع تلك الصفحة أيضا وجود المفضلة مهم بحيث يمكن حفظ الكورسات التي لا نتعلمها حاليا ونفكر الالتحاق بها لاحقا في المفضلة مع تقييد العدد المسموح الاحتفاظ به فيها حتى لا تفقد أهميتها بالحفظ العشوائي وكذلك جعل المفضلة خاصة غير مرئية للآخرين. شكرا مرة أخرى

hello there is a bug in the translation in lvl 1 stage 2 for the words
[my translate to ي… ] the correct translation is [لي]
the same problem In [your translate to ك…] the correct translation is [لك]
i hope you solve this problem fast ,and add Chatbots for English/Arabic

مرحبا
أظن أن المقصود هو ياء المتكلم وكاف الخطاب، دون الحاجة إلى ذكر المضاف. لكن أظن أنه من الأفضل إضافة كلمتين لشرح المراد، مثلا:
كتابي my book
كتابك your book

I don’t think it’s a bug, but adding two words to the level will be useful, like the ones stated above.

كلامك صحيح
لكن المشكلة عدم وجود القواعد داخل التطبيق لذلك من الأفضل ترجمتها ككلمة وليس كحرف لتفادي سوء الفهم
my = لي
your = لك

This Course is very helpful!
Please continue make English Courses for Arabic language speakers, you made a wonderful levels but we hope you complete it! take it up to another levels… is it possible? :slightly_smiling_face:
