Can't access memrise pc site

I signed up with Memrise because they apparently deleted my account not used for the last three years.

I created a new account which I activated as per the process. When I login now I am taken to forums. Previously to coming to forums it would only take me to the app page. I go to memrise.com and login and takes me to app page. The app page says it can’t work with my o.s. (which makes sense since it is win10 not an app)

Does the web Memrise program no longer exist?

Hi,

Do you get the same outcome when using the new app.memrise.com url for the learning site?

Tried to reply but Memrise restrictions make impossible to describe the problem. Memrise won’t let me post the links involved and that is what the problem is.

Let me put it this way and see if it gets by the Memrise censors.

Does the option of using a p.c. to take advantage of Memrise still exist? If so how do I do that? Going to their home page doesn’t work. It is impossible to describe the problem without posting the links involved.

I don’t know what’s causing that but I’ll try to help.

Yes. I use the website every day. This is what your profile page there currently looks like:

Does this link get you there? Memrise - arnetwork279daedb43

That’s because you are a ‘newbie’ on the forum. You’ll get access to all the features after you’ve been around for a while and have read a few topics and posted a few times.

You can read the background to the change of the website url in this thread:

Hope this helps. If not, come back.

Clicking on the arnetwork link several times always resulted in a message that my o.s. was incompatible with the page I was trying to access. I clicked on it multiple times over the course of a few minutes. Always got the same response. A few minutes before your post, I clicked on that same link in exactly the same manner and I was taken to the web page where I could access the content. What is more is that there are many more European languages available displayed than before getting full access, including the small one that I was looking for.

No idea what was wrong then and what is right now but it is working which is all I care about. Completed the first lesson and got fifteen hundred points or some such. Going to pin and save the page as is in several ways so I don’t lose access and have to figure out what went wrong.

Thanks for your attention to this matter.

Good to know that you were able to log on eventually!

It’s a strange one. I can’t think why you were getting a message about your OS. I also use Windows 10 (usually with Firefox) and mostly stay signed-in. Whenever I have signed-out, I use this page to get back in: Memrise

Good luck!
