App not syncing with desktop course content

I created a Korean-English course today and it showed up in the iOS app when I first created it, but the content shown in the app has since stopped updating as I add/edit course content on desktop. I’ve tried closing/opening and updating the app but nothing has changed. Please help! Thanks

I’m not sure about iOS (I’m on Android), but if pulling down on the dashboard (i. e. the list of courses) doesn’t help, there’s a few other options to force the app to update your courses’ data:

  • download the course for offline use (requires premium) - this will sync that course’s data with the course’s database, no other courses will be affected (if you already downloaded the course, tap the button to remove the data and then tap it again to re-download the course)
  • log off, then log back on (note that all settings will have to be set again)
  • close the app, clear the cache (in your device, go to settings then apps → Memrise → clear cache), uninstall the app, restart the device, reinstall and log back in
