Android bugs

The same issue on my side since forever:

And this bug I see from time to time, or an old course, not visited for some time, could suddenly appear at the top:

@JBorrego Hey, is there someone in your team who is using Memrise app? It was December, some time before holiday season, when there appeared a button. It does not work for about two months, it’s like empty. I can’t believe no one noticed it, and the button is still there, non-functioning. Or is it just for decoration purposes?

Hi @Hombre_sin_nombre i have literally just checked that and i can’t reproduce the issue you are describing. It all seems to work well on all devices we can cover. Could you please dm me with more details about your device?

That button is working for me, never had any problems and I use it very often.

Anyone else getting this error.
I had other problems also like lesson completed and next day it said i did not study the day before, dark mode problem, etc…

What course/level is that? Might be related to Classic Review and Speed review not working, which was fixed by an update today.

Yes, it happened when i clicked on Classic Review. Apparently the fix from 1h ago fixed …i’ll keep an eye on it.

Thanks for now.

Added #26:

So far this has happened on two Samsung S10 and a Huawei M10.

Noticed this, too. It happened in a course, which I was previewing, so I thought those things were related.

By the way, there’s a settings bug missing in your list. After login you need to select number of words in learning sessions several times before app will remember it.

Good catch! I’ll add that as #27.

@Olaf.Rabbachin Bug #6 (Courses that have been completed show as incomplete) has been fixed in the last update. Could you check it out on your device?

Yep, the bug seems to be gone - I’ve updated the posting.

A new (minor) bug I saw today: the level is wrong. My current level should show a 16 and it should read “bis Rang 17” / “to level 17” (added as #28):

Hmm. It’s back to normal now. Does anyone else still have the problem?

I have heard of this issue but it is very intermittent. We suspect it has got something to do with not being able to download that data when the page is presented but when it does collect the data, and eventually the page refreshes, it shows correctly. quite difficult to reproduce but if you find a consistent way, we would like to know!

I saw it some time ago, it was reported somewhere (incorrect level after the start of the app). Now it works fine.

yup, that would work with our suspicions

by the way, Downloading large courses (issue #3) should be fixed
