Abandoned Courses [and how to resurrect them]

Hey, I was wondering, if there’s a way to resurrect courses that are not maintained any more. Look at this course for example: http://www.memrise.com/course/356031/minna-no-nihongo-1-8/
In the forum, there are a couple error reports on missing or wrong words and nothing is happening. Is this course going to stand still forever? If people want a course with fixed errors, do they have to start from scratch if no ones is fixing them in the old course?
If this were github, I’d fork this course and correct all the known errors. But it’s not, so we’re stuck with this. Or is there a solution I have overseen?

This came up once for me before; I emailed the Memrise team, and they added me as a contributor after I completed a few steps. You can start over here to contact support.

@kuah ~ thanks for this info. I always wondered how to go about this, as I have come across a few courses in the past which were clearly abandoned. I just took your advice and followed the link you provided about a course I am taking now that seems abandoned, and after submitting the info to the support team, I got an e-mail response stating that this type of info might be better (faster) handled through posting to this forum’s address. Not sure what category that would fall under, but maybe a leader/moderator (or whatever the proper title is) could elaborate in case others wish to help out with potentially abandoned courses and improve their content for the rest of us. Many thanks.
