This file was initially tagged by Wutkh as Copyvio (Copyvio) and the most recent rationale was: Guidelines on the Use of the ASEAN Emblem said "The ASEAN Emblem is the reserved copyright of ASEAN." and The Use of the ASEAN Emblem page said "The ASEAN Emblem shall not be used for commercial purposes unless the entities concerned obtain official approval through the procedures stipulated in Article A.4.". However, if someone has already requested for the use of the ASEAN Emblem and are authorised to do so, please proof that at the earliest opportunity.

Summary[edit]

Description
English: The ASEAN Emblem represents a stable, peaceful, united and dynamic ASEAN. The colours of the Emblem — blue, red, white and yellow — represent the main colours of the state crests of all the ASEAN Member States. The blue represents peace and stability. Red depicts courage and dynamism, white shows purity and yellow symbolise prosperity. The stalks of padi in the centre of the Emblem represent the dream of ASEAN’s Founding Fathers for an ASEAN comprising all the countries in Southeast Asia, bound together in friendship and solidarity.
